Seminar's content
The Seminar covered Information and Publicity of Structural Funds from an integrated and global perspective, which included:
- a global analysis of the European communication activities on Stuctural Funds (targets, priorities, main activities and perspectives beyond 2006) by Mrs Véronique Faure and Luigi Nigri from the Information and Communication Unit of the DG Regional Policy of the European Commission.
- a detailed presentation ot the Publicity Evaluation of the Madrid Region Information and Publicity Plan by Lucía Lisbona, part of the team of Quasar Consultores, who carried out the evaluation.
- a critical overview of the audit process of the information and publicity requirements in the Madrid Region Administration by. Mrs Salomé Fernández Muñoz, Head of the Auditing Unit of the Presidency Deparment.
- a round table in which Spanish regions and partners of the S3 project presented their best practices in information and publicity implemented in their own territorial scope:

- Andalucía Region, Spain: Mr Antonio Valverde Ramos, Director General for European Funds.

- Emilia Romagna Region, Italy (S3 project): Mrs Anna Maria Linsalata, Directorate General for Industry, Trade and Tourism.
- South Yorkshire Region, UK (S3 project): Mr Richard Holmes.
- a detailed analysis of the Practical Guide to Communicating on Structural Funds 2000-2006 by Luigi Nigri, Expert in Information and Communication of Structural Funds from the European Commission.
