SRNeuropa.net - 'Good Practice' in the delivery of Structural Funds sub-regionally
A network has been formed for the exchange of 'good practice' in the management and delivery of Structural Funds and other regeneration programmes. This three year project aims to deliver a Good Practice Guide that will become a valuable resource for all related Europe-wide programmes and local programme delivery. The Sub-Regional Network (SRN) was formed, having identified a need for a transnational exchange of knowledge and working practices at the sub-regional level. Billy Talent Termine The network comprises a partnership of twelve cities and regional development agencies experienced in the delivery of Structural Funds and regeneration programmes. The partner organisations range across seven EU countries, including both long-time members and the latest accession states. Each partner brings its expertise and perspectives to the forum with a view to obtaining tangible results. SRN.europa.net project aims to identify improvements in performance and management and to enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of regional and sub-regional programmes both current and for the future. It will evaluate local-led solutions to management and delivery, sharing 'good practice' strategies across a sustainable network. The impact of the network will be an increased understanding, by practitioners and other stakeholder bodies, of the delivery and implementation of Structural funds and other regeneration programmes operating across the EU. Throughout its three year programme the network's website, www.SRNeuropa.net, provides a live and expanding resource, recording the networks findings. These findings will then form the basis of the Good Practice Guide to be launched at a major Conference in 2007. For more information: Get same day instant payday loans, faxless and easy. |
